The Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts(ZRC SAZU) is one of the leading research and educational centres in Slovenia. ZRC SAZU’s Institute of Culture and Memory Studies engages in investigations of different forms of memory practices related to the events that profoundly marked 20th century Slovenia and South-east Europe. Its researchers focus on multi-layered phenomenon of memory, its social role and political relevance, and its relation with collective imaginations of the future. They also dedicate significant attention to research and practice of gender equality and equal opportunities in academia.
